Get a real job!

Well busy weekend. This morning the boy went out to the garage to discover it had been broken into. It seems they used a screwdriver and busted the lock. At first it didn't appear as if anything had been taken but as this gave us an excuse to clean out the garage as I was walking down to the bin I noticed a box of ours. It looks as if they thought they had found a goldmine of over 200 cd's but sucked in it was only blank cases. Thankfully nothing else was taken. When the boy went and reported it to the cops they said there had been a spate of break ins in our area. This really gives me the shits- it may be kids but it may be junkies which I can't stand. Luckily our house has never been broken into but before we have had the car and storage shed it seems to be a fact of life around here.
On a happier note we got out new digital camera. We ended up getting a sony cyber shot. Easy to use, cute and compact and a nice price as the boy can get these things at cost.
Back to the weekend- went on a little road trip to Yass yesterday, while we were there we thought we would check out Good Hope. I think it used to be a thriving resort for water skiers, campers but now it looks like a ghost town which is kind of sad. Next time we will check out Wee Jasper for Casey's Caves.
Got a few dvd's and managed to watch the Butterfly Effect (really enjoyed the story even though Ashton does nothing for me), also Kill Bill Vol 2 and Le Divorce.
Well enough of me gotta get back to the painting.
